Laura and her husband, Tom, are Elwood transplants, moving to Wilmington in 1978. Their daughters are Wilmington graduates and were active in sports, especially softball. Laura is active in the First United Methodist Church and a member of the Praise Ringers bell choir. She has been fully licensed for all insurance lines since 1987.
